When I was a child I had an unbelievable fear of dogs. It was so bad that even being near a dog would make me cry and go into a panic attack. First couple years of my life there had been no reason for it. I was haunted by nightmares of this certain recurring terror. For me to explain the nightmare I need to explain the layout of where I live. Way out in the boonies with very few neighbors there is my house, an empty house used for storage next to us, and an even further house where my dad's adopted parents live.
